What we mean by cookies
Cookies are small values stored by a website in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, which can retain a preference or session on your device. This policy covers both so the practical effect is clear.
CrewLog does not ask you to “accept all” because it does not currently load optional analytics or advertising trackers. Essential technologies operate without consent where permitted by law, and are documented here.
Technology inventory
| Technology | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
crewlog.cookieNotice.v1 | Remembers that you dismissed the essential-storage notice. | Local storage · CrewLog | Until cleared or the notice version changes |
crewlog.themePreference | Applies your chosen light, dark, or system theme promptly in the web app. | Local storage · CrewLog | Until you change it or clear browser storage |
| Supabase authentication session | Keeps you signed in, refreshes your authenticated session, and protects account access. | Local storage · Supabase | Until sign-out, expiry, or browser storage is cleared |
CF_Authorization and related security cookies, when present | Protect pre-launch environments with Cloudflare Access or complete a security challenge. | Cookie · Cloudflare | For the configured access or security session |
The mobile app stores authentication material in the device keychain or keystore and keeps local preferences on the device. Those are app storage, not browser cookies.
Your controls
You can clear cookies and local storage using your browser controls. Doing so may sign you out, reset your theme, and show the notice again. Blocking essential storage can prevent authenticated parts of CrewLog from working.
If CrewLog later introduces optional analytics, advertising, or another non-essential technology, it will remain off until the required choice is made. We will update this inventory and provide equally accessible accept and reject controls where consent is required.
Questions
Contact support@getcrewlog.app if a browser tool reports a technology you do not recognize. Some Cloudflare security technologies are activated only when a request triggers protection.
